The new disability compensation rates take effect on december 1, 2023. For 2024, the va will use the 2024 va disability pay chart to determine compensation amounts for new disability compensation recipients.
These would go in to effect as of dec 1, 2023. The 2024 va disability pay chart table shows a 3.2% cola adjustment, boosting monthly compensation rates for vets.
